Shalbourne Rain Garden – the big build!

Join ARK at Shalbourne Primary School over half term week to help create a new rain garden.
Rain gardens reduce and slow down the flow of storm water into the drainage system. This helps to prevent untreated waste overflowing into our rivers. Shalbourne’s rain garden has been designed by Wendy Allen and whether you are a keen gardener or just want to spend some time outdoors, you’ll have the chance to learn about rain gardens working alongside an RHS Gold Medal winning garden designer, and create a beautiful new green space at Shalbourne Primary School. This event is part of the Sparkling Streams project.
